He started cycling to lose weight and to live a healthier lifestyle. Now, the 17-year-old cycling fanatic, has the goal of becoming a World Tour Rider.
Carlo Engelbrecht believes that “the best way to predict your future, is to create it” and is on a mission to do just that.
He absolutely loves the adrenalin that comes with cycling and spends most of his time on his bike. He is goal driven and once he has set one, he is focused on achieving it.
His biggest motivators are his parents and hopes to one day meet Mathieu van de Poel.
The most frustrating thing he feels is coming back after a hard crash but knows that pain is only temporary.
“Cycling is most of my life, the other things just fill the gaps.”
