Michaela Lubbe

Michaela’s biggest dream is to travel the world on her bicycle, and to one day [soon] race in the women’s professional peloton in Europe.

Having had a love for sports from an early age, her passion and focus is found on her bicycle.

“Can’t live without it. It lightens my life, and boosts my mood.”

The early 20-something year old has been building her experience on the Cape Town racing scene with winning the Killarney Crit series, placing 1st overall at the Myriad Events Crit Series and 2nd in the League Road Race Series.

She races for women’s team, @pacelinewmncycling who are working hard to encourage more women in cycling.

What she loves about cycling is the freedom, being outdoors, connecting and meeting new people and biggest influence is her coach, @chrispinfourie.

Follow her as she works for her dream.
