Origin of Trails

Most mountain bikers will, at some point, consider a mountain biking stage racing event.

The idea of riding back to back days and experiencing the vibe of a race village is one that gets the heart racing in excitement.

The problem is that entering for one of these events can set you back. While the money is definitely worth the spend, let’s face it, it’s not something everyone can do every year.

The Savanna Origin of Trails, however, has made this experience possible.

The 2-day MTB stage race starts at Stellenbosch High School which means just a short drive to and from the event (if you are local of course) and takes riders onto a vast network of world-class trails.

Offering the race village experience with live music and what they describe as mouth-watering food, the cost to is affordable and gives both experienced and newbies a taste of what stage racing is about.

If this event isn’t on your annual calendar, you should look into it.
