Willie Richards

“Struggling and suffering are the essence of a life worth living. If you’re not pushing yourself beyond the comfort zone, if you’re not demanding more from yourself – expanding and learning as you go – you’re choosing a numb existence. You’re denying yourself an extraordinary trip.”

This is Willie Richard’s favorite quote by Dean Karnazes.

And you can understand why when you hear his story.

Wille, ultra-activity lover, has taken on a number of extreme challenges where his has pushed his own limits.

Having completed 19 ultra distance duathlons from Namibia to Cape Town in 2017 covering 1845kms and 13 back to back ultra’s in 2019.

He believes that having the ability to be active and move allows him to live a full life.

Coupled with his love for pushing his physical limits he raises awareness and funds for Animal NPO’s in the Western Cape.

With this in mind he founded a brand called Singe-Track which has an Outdoor Clothing Range which supports his awareness mission.

Willie’s dream is to execute another ultra challenge by crossing multiple countries in aid of Animal Welfare.
