Cape Town Cycle Tour

Will this be a good year?

Over the past few years Cape Town Cycle Tour has had to battle gale-force winds, fire, protests, Covid…

And that’s over and above handling the mammoth task of putting the historical event together – which comes with it’s own set of challenges.

As each day sets closer, participants will be watching weather and news updates closely.

The popular SA road cycling event holds many memories for local and international riders alike.

The mass participation event brings an opportunity for competitive racing on R100k plus bicycles across to squeaking (who knows when last serviced) social steads.

Although the possibly of creating the same social atmosphere as previous years is slim due to safety regulations, it is fantastic to know that the show can go on – setting the tone for a “normal” 2022.

It has been a tough couple months to bring back events.

Show your support by doing your bit if you are participating.

Good luck and be considerate.
