Chanel Hannah Fourie

Chanel’s dream is for more people (especially women) to gain confidence through sport, and to learn to love themselves a little more each day.

That’s no wonder she recently started a women focused cycling team, called Paceline Women’s Cycling.

She has always loved sport, lives for the endorphins that come from exercise and considers herself pretty competitive.

Having started with Ballet at the age of 6, she has always been involved in sport.

She was introduced to a bicycle by a supervisor at a previous job and now spends hours encouraging more women to take up the sport.

What keeps her going is helping to grow young minds, being part of something bigger than herself, as well as growing in mind and body.

“Sport shows us that we are capable of more than we think, and sport connects us to people we might have otherwise never met.”

A sporting personality she’d like to meet is Ella Harris (from Cayon Sram women’s team). “love her humor and wit.”
